Mental Health America of the Low Country (MHALC) and its programs have operated continuously since 1976. MHALC provides structured programs led by credentialed staff centered on helping its clients achieve their behavioral health treatment goals in our highly supportive environment. We are a registered provider with the state of South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. We are also credentialed by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF) demonstrating that international standards of quality, value and optimal client-centered outcomes have been met.
